I think Fillmore Jazz Festival is one of the best street festival in SF.
Not only I just love Fillmore street in general, but also they organize this event really well.
This Year was 27th annual year.

It was perfect weather for San Francisco, and many many people were there.
There are lots of great music, food, drinks ( alcohol), and everyone seemed to enjoy them the festival.

Crowd was mixed, typical San Francisco,  and people were mellow.
Lots of families, friends were there to enjoy a great day together.

We also want to thank to Vas Kiniris from Zinc Details, for letting us use his store front location.

Big Thank to SKYPE Stockholm Team!

It was lucky that I could visit modern, colorful, playful office,
SKYPE Stockholm in Sweden.

Fun and playful atmosphere

This is located in a old historical building called " Münchenbryggeriet,
(sorry it is too hard to pronounce it!) where was Sweden's largest Brewery in 1857 till 1971.

historic building with bricks, looks still beautiful.

When I arrived there, some people were doing rock climbing in front of office?!

I can already feel how unique this office can be?

Once step inside, Here are a warm cozy interior design with very colorful furniture.

It is said,  "Architect and Designers were charged with expressing the Skype brand’s playful spirit and its mission to connect the world in the working environment. Skype brand’s playful spirit and its mission to connect the world in the working environment."
BY PS Arkitektur

I can see their point! Well Done!

Fantastic view from the office room, you can see the City Hall of Stockholm where is the venue of the Nobel Prize banquet and one of Stockholm's major tourist attractions

There are lots of people are still hanging out enjoying after work guilty pleasures? with some wine and cheese on Friday evening in their own kitchen / Bar?!
Isn't it so nice to communicate each other in this kind of environment?

So I have started to show our concept with our KIBO T shirts products.
Lots of people are so kind, and showing their support for victims in Japan.

marimekko Girls in Stockholm love the KIBO PROJECT! Thanks for your support!

So I finally stopped by at Marimekko shop in Stockholm.

A store filled with lots of beautiful stuff and lots of marimekko colors in Summer atmosphere.  I wish there were more real summer days in San Francisco...

This store inspires me a lot of new ideas with mixed and match colors.

Then I found that there is a very cute, colorful bag for HELPING JAPAN in the store.

It says " KOKORO WO HITOTSU NI", means, " One Heart, One Mind"

Girls, Anni and Karin in this store are really helpful and so nice with patent with me to choose the color and sizes while I was shopping.
They did beautiful gift wrapping as well. Thank you.

So while I was waiting for gift wrapping,  I was explaining about our KIBO PROJECT concept, they say no problem to make a pose for our blog.
Also They really liked our design and concept.  We appreciate it!

I love Anni's mix and match fashion, very sweet and cool.

Thank to Anni for your support, You look good with our KIBO tote.

This is their fitting room, very simple and monochrome

Then Karin also loved our KIBO PROJECT concept and KIBO TOTE Bag.
To show her big support to us, she made to pose for our KIBO Blog.

Simple marimekko T shirt and denim look good on her with KIBO TOTE.

Thank to Karin for your support!

OK, I was very happy today, because I finally shopped at marimekko flagship store in Stockholm.
When I am in San Francisco, I go to zinc details in San Francisco.
They also have lots of great selections of marimekko.
Or just shop marimekko when I am back to Japan.

Today's Last Shot is Anna.
I just met her in NK department store, and She showed her supports to KIBO Project.
Therefore, she was ok to pose for our blog.
Thank to everyone who can support our concept to raise money for Japan!

Thank to Anna, I asked to stand in front of pink cabinet to match her shoes.

KIBO PROJECT meets Stockholm Part 2

Well... walking around the town by myself from 9am in the morning, you have a plenty of time you can do a lot of things!

I went to museum, parks, cafe, cathedral etc..
Then I wrote cards to my family & friends and sent them from post office..
OK, what should I do next?  How about shopping/looking?

Stockholm color post box

shopping arcade

I looked at my watch, then it was a lunch time.
Normally I do not mind eating alone, but when I am in a place where I do not know anyone, I miss chatting with someone..

cute cafe with pretty flowers

When I was shopping before having a lunch, thinking of what to eat, where to go and so on, I was very lucky to meet Talat!

Talat made a pose for us! The KIBO tote looks so chic on her.

Talat also liked our KIBO TOTE Bag and our concept.  Thank you, Talat.

She speaks fluently English (most of Swedish people speak such a good English) and
She has been living in Japan for a while.
She also concerned about how is Japan and Japanese people now after the earthquake.

Anyway somehow she knew that I missed eating some Asian food.

She took me to such a lovely Chinese Tea house, called, Grace House where serve tea with home made dumplings.

She is such a sweet, kind, wonderful person.

I had a really great time with her. Thank to Talat.

After my lunch, she showed me around the Stockholm downtown shopping, Gallerian
and, NK ( Nordiska Kompaniet) walking downstairs arcade where I would get lost easily.
I thought it is kind of like Japan.
Once you know the area, you can go up and down in whole shopping area to subway station, it is all connected, very convenient.

I saw Japanese Flag, Yes.

Then we said Good Bye in a Marimekko store.

.....to be contenued

Now KIBO Project is visiting this beautiful, clean , nice, modern thriving city Stockholm,
Sweden in Europe.

This old city has a lots of amazing charms with innovative modern designs treasures.

On top of lots of own charm, I met lots of real generous people who are really nice, friendly and sweet.
Thank to all my new friends whom I met and supporting our KIBO Project.
you made my stay in Stockholm more memorable and fun.

By the way, the weather in Stockholm are really changeable.
After the beautiful sunshine, suddenly grey skies and pouring rain start, I hopped myself into a shop or cafe or under the trees.

LuckilyI found such a charming treasure store in old town while I was looking for a spot to hide from raining.

It is called LENA M Sweden.
This place has lots of girl's favorite treasure box feeling for me.
Very sweet, nostalgic and romantic feeling once you step in this shop.

And I met sweet lady, Zete.
She is an jewelry, pottery artist, very talented woman.
She really liked our KIBO Tote Bag and very supportive.  It looks good on her!
Thanks Zete!

Then after her store, There was a girl with two doggies were walking around.
I am always curious about dogs, because I have one, too.
So we started to chat in the street.
She was very nice but bit camera shy, very cool girl.
She loved our concept and also very supportive.
She told me this bag is great size for walking and shopping around.
Thank to Helena and two pooches!

OK,Walking all day long, now My feet are so tired and swallon,
it is time to go back to hotel...
Then I got super lucky to see double rainbow!!!
WOW!
I immediately pray and wish for our country Japan and Japanese people's good future.

So Our KIBO (=HOPE) has to keep going on!
